Free Shipping on All Orders
We are delighted to offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders – with no minimum purchase required. You won’t find any extra delivery fees at checkout; the shipping cost is already baked into the price of our products, so the price you see is the price you pay. It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing our dried flowers to brighten your space!
Transparency note: By including shipping in our prices, we keep things simple and surprise-free. Rest assured, you’re not paying more at checkout – shipping is on us.
Processing Time
We know you’re excited to receive your flowers, so we hustle to get your order out the door! Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 working day of being placed. This means if you order on a Monday afternoon, we aim to have it packaged and handed to the courier on Tuesday.
- You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.
- Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed the next working day.
Occasionally, during very busy periods or sales, processing might take a little longer (an extra day or so), but we’ll always do our best to be as quick as possible.
Delivery Time
Our estimated delivery time is 2 working days from the date of dispatch for addresses within the UK. In many cases, customers receive their packages even sooner! (For example, orders dispatched on Tuesday often arrive by Thursday.)
- We primarily ship from our London location, so delivery times can vary slightly depending on where you are in the country. Most UK mainland addresses are reached in 1-3 working days after dispatch.
- Deliveries are made on business days (Monday to Friday). While our courier partners may occasionally deliver on a Saturday, we don’t officially schedule standard deliveries for weekends or bank holidays.
- If you need your order by a specific date (for a gift or event), feel free to reach out to us or leave a note at checkout – we’ll do our best to accommodate and advise if the standard shipping will get it there in time.
Please Note: Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Once we hand your parcel over to the courier, its journey is somewhat out of our hands. Factors like extreme weather, unexpected courier delays, or high-volume seasons (e.g., Christmas) might extend delivery by a day or two. We appreciate your understanding in such cases, and we’ll always be here to assist if a package seems delayed.
Shipping Carrier and Tracking
We use reputable national couriers (such as Royal Mail, DPD, Evri/Hermes, or UPS, depending on the size and destination of the order) to ensure your dried flowers arrive safely and on time.
- Tracking: Every order includes tracking. Once your order ships, we will email you a tracking number/link. You can use this to follow your flowers’ journey in real time! We love tracking our packages too – it’s like watching your blooms travel to their new home.
- Delivery Instructions: If you have special instructions (e.g., “leave with neighbor at No.12” or “leave in porch if out”), you can often add these via the courier’s tracking page using your tracking number, or let us know and we’ll pass the note to the courier. Please note that requests like leaving in a safe place are at your own risk, but many customers find it convenient.
Our packaging is discreet and secure, so it’s not obvious to the world that there are flowers inside (to reduce any temptation for package mischief). However, the return address will say “Bloom & Preserve Ltd” and our London address, in case there’s any delivery issue.
Delivery Areas
Currently, we ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only. This includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We also ship to Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, and other UK Crown dependencies (though please allow an extra day or two for those).
- International Shipping: We’re a small but growing business, and we know dried flowers make people smile all over the world. While we don’t offer international shipping at this time, it’s on our radar for the future. If you’re outside the UK and keen on our products, stay tuned – we hope to spread the joy of Dried internationally down the line! - BFPO and PO Boxes: Regrettably, our couriers often require a physical address, so we may not be able to deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses. If you have only those options, please contact us to discuss, and we’ll see if there’s a solution.
Packaging and Handling
Your dried flowers will be carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We hand-pick and arrange each order with love, then secure it in protective packaging. We use sturdy cardboard boxes (often made from recycled materials) with plenty of padding. Delicate stems are wrapped in paper and sometimes a bit of recyclable bubble wrap where needed.
- We try to be eco-friendly in our packaging: most of our packing materials are recyclable or biodegradable. You might notice paper tape, compostable void fill, or reused packaging material. We believe in sustainability, just like the sustainability of dried flowers themselves!
- Unpacking Tip: When your parcel arrives, open it gently and preferably over a table. Some dried flowers can shed tiny bits (just like a real Christmas tree might drop a couple of needles). This is normal and doesn’t affect the bouquet’s beauty. Opening over a surface makes for easy cleanup of any little loose pieces.
- If your order contains a gift note or special message, we’ll place it right on top so it’s the first thing seen when the box is opened – adding a personal touch.
Missing or Delayed Orders
If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, here’s what to do:
- Check the Tracking Information: Use the tracking number we sent to see the package’s status. It might be marked as delayed or might indicate an attempted delivery. Sometimes couriers leave a card or notification if they tried to deliver when no one was home. The tracking could note if it’s been left with a neighbor or at a local depot/post office for collection.
- Allow a Little Extra Time: Although most of our packages arrive promptly, occasionally a parcel might take an extra day or two (especially during peak periods or due to transport disruptions). If the tracking shows it’s still in transit, it’s usually worth waiting another working day.
- Contact Us: If you’re concerned about a delay or something doesn’t look right with the tracking, please get in touch with us at hello@dried.co.uk. We’re here to help. Provide your order number and any relevant info from the tracking, and we’ll investigate immediately. We can reach out to the courier on your behalf to get more details or help resolve the issue.
- Lost Packages: In the rare event a parcel appears to be lost (no tracking update for an unusual length of time), we will absolutely work to make it right. This may involve sending a replacement or refunding your order, depending on the situation and your preference. We’ll keep you in the loop throughout the process.
Important: If a package is marked as “Delivered” by the courier but you have not received it, please double-check around your property or with neighbors (sometimes drivers leave parcels in hidden spots or with a friendly neighbor). If it’s still missing, notify us within 14 days of the dispatch date so we can assist. After that window, it becomes more challenging for us to trace the delivery with the courier, but we’ll still do our best to help.
International Orders (Future)
(For clarity, reiterating our current status:) We do not currently ship outside the UK. All orders must have a UK delivery address. In the future, if and when we begin offering international shipping, this policy will be updated with relevant details, such as shipping fees, delivery timeframes, and customs/duties information for each region.
If you’re a customer from outside the UK who’s very interested in our dried flowers, please let us know! We may be able to explore a one-off solution or at least prioritize your country when we expand our shipping range. Your enthusiasm means a lot to us.
